Our mission is to improve understanding of tick exposure by collecting, organizing, and sharing anonymized, user-reported data on tick bites. By empowering individuals to voluntarily report tick encounters, we aim to support public awareness, encourage prevention, and contribute to broader research efforts related to tick activity and vector-borne disease trends.

This project exists to provide accessible, community-driven insights—not medical advice—and to help individuals, researchers, and public health stakeholders better understand where and when tick exposure occurs.

This Privacy Policy describes how Tick Bite Data, Inc. (“TickBiteData”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses,
shares, and protects personal information when you interact with our website (the “Website”).

Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to non-TickBiteData websites or services that state

• Tick bite survey information, including your email address, age, gender, ethnicity, and
  medical symptoms if you choose to participate. You are not required to provide this
  information to participate in our research surveys.

• Any additional information you choose to provide, including questions, suggestions, and
  feedback.

• Automatically from you, device information and online user activity when you visit our Website, as described in the next section.

Please note some of this information may be collected by external parties on our behalf. If you provide
us with personal information about another individual, you acknowledge that you have that individual’s
permission to provide their information to us and to allow us to collect, use, and share it as described in
this Privacy Policy.

Certain information is automatically collected from you when you interact with our Website. This

  and referring address.

  established, including whether such signals must be user-enabled, we do not respond to “Do 
  Not Track” signals.

• Opt out of email marketing: If you no longer wish to receive marketing emails from us, you can 
  click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our marketing emails.

we collect through the Website. While we use these precautions to safeguard your information, we
cannot guarantee the security of the networks, systems, servers, devices, and databases we operate or
